Last week, the team at Heritage Ceramics volunteered at Food From The Heart (FFTH).
About Food From The Heart
FFTH, established in February 2003, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to alleviate food insecurity in Singapore through its five food distribution programs. They are committed to driving positive change and making a difference in the community. Additionally, FFTH aims to nurture a compassionate community that extends a helping hand to the less fortune neighbours.
Despite Singapore’s status as one of the wealthiest countries, many individuals still face food insecurity. Heritage Ceramics is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the community and improving lives. This time, we partnered with FFTH and contributed in 2 significant ways.
1. Food Donation
We contributed freshly purchased food items according to FFTH’s wish list, contributing to their inventory. Each of our employees personally selected items that the beneficiaries would appreciate. Through this hands-on process, our team gained a better understanding of and empathy for the daily food challenges faced by those in need.
2. Food Delivery
We assisted FFTH in delivering food items to beneficiaries. As a non-profit organisation, FFTH relies heavily on volunteers. This task was particularly meaningful for us, as it allowed us to meet the beneficiaries and witness their pleasant smiles and warm welcomes firsthand.
Heritage Ceramics strives to continue contributing to the community. We aim to empower our employees to spread love and happiness, fostering a spirit of compassion and support for those in need. Beyond our employees, we hope our customers and partners will join us in making a difference and playing their part.
