ISO13006:2018 – Ceramic tiles Definition, classification, characteristics and markings.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standard bodies, known as ISO member bodies. These members collaborate to develop industry and quality requirements and standards for various types of products. Each member body with an interest in a particular subject, for which a technical committee has been established, has the right to be represented on that committee.
For ceramic tiles, the relevant standard is ISO 13006, which sets the minimum requirements for quality — including mechanical strength and properties, dimensional stability, surface quality, resistance to chemicals, and more.
All our products are tested by recognized independent laboratories to ensure they conform to, and often exceed, the requirements of ISO 13006:2018.
