The Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) and Singapore Green Label Scheme (SGLS) are sustainability certification systems developed in Singapore and recognised for use across international markets. Both schemes evaluate products based on environmental performance across their lifecycle, allowing manufacturers to demonstrate credible and consistent sustainability standards globally.
The SGLS is a Type I environmental label aligned with ISO 14024 principles, requiring independent third-party verification and multi-criteria assessment. The SGBP is a green building product certification scheme that follows lifecycle-based assessment principles and aligns with many requirements of ISO 14024, supporting its use within global green building frameworks.
